A.R.C Ministries Inc. began as an outreach initiative to help minister to a small underserved community in Lancaster, SC. ARC Ministries' goal is to Equip, Enable, Empower, and Educate a world through the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Due to the pandemic when the CDC determined the necessity for social distancing, in an effort to stay connected to families, ARC began to continue to serve them through a virtual Bible study. From this virtual Bible study, many were strengthened and encouraged.
In January 2021 by the leading of the Lord, ARC expanded the walls of the vision and established itself as a newly planted Ministry in Charlotte, NC.
Section 1. The Bible.
The Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the God-breathed and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original writings. It is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and is completely relevant to everyday life (Matthew 5:18; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
Section 2. God.
There is one God, who is indivisible, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6).
Section 3. Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is completely God and completely man. He died on the cross, becoming the complete and ultimate sacrifice for our sins according to the Holy Scriptures. He defeated death in His resurrection, arose with all power, and is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High (Matthew 1:21; Mark 14:62; John 1:1,14; Colossians 1: 15-18).

Bishop Robert A. Merriwether, Sr
Pastor & Co-Founder
Pastor Robert Merriwether, Sr. is the Senior Pastor, founder, and visionary of A.R.C Ministries, Inc. He served as an Assistant Pastor for Calvary Christian Church of the Apostolic Faith Inc., from September 2018 until December of 2020; prior to founding the A.R.C Ministries, along with his wife, Lady Shania Merriwether.
Becoming a licensed Elder in 2005, and Ordained in 2017, Pastor Merriwether’s ministry has carried him across denominational lines preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not only has his ministry carried him across denominational line, but across his home State of North Carolina, the USA, and even internationally (Africa, South Africa), preaching the Gospel.
Pastor Merriwether has served in many various roles and capacities in his home church. Including but not limited to being the Young Peoples president, organist, the banner ministry, puppet ministry, and more. Helping to extend the ministries reach outside its four walls, Pastor Merriwether also served as a part of the jail ministry team; and the Cell ministry, which was a home bible study extension of Calvary. Pastor Merriwether also served his late grandfather and founding Pastor Bishop Edward C. Roberts, as his armor bearer. After his grandfather’s passing, Pastor Merriwether assisted his grandmother, Pastor Betty J. Roberts with many sacerdotal responsibilities.
The Lord impressed upon the spirit of Pastor Merriwether to start A.R.C Ministries Inc. A.R.C Ministries started out as an outreach initiative to help minister to a small, underserved community in Lancaster, SC. A.R.C has grown to be a ministry of Healing and Refuge; where we minister to the whole man.
Pastor Merriwether and his lovely wife, Lady Merriwether have three children, Robert Jr.; Kalynn; and Jonathan. Pastor Merriwether lives by the motto, “The anointing is my defense”!
Lady Shania Merriwether
Leading Lady & Co-Founder
Lady Merriwether is the co-founder of A.R.C Ministries Inc.; from her young years she has always had a passion for education and leadership. Having served in various ministry capacities alongside her husband for nineteen years, God’s purpose and will for her life has been her constant pursuit.
Lady Merriwether is a dedicated and diligent educator and has been for the past eighteen years. She graduated from Liberty University with her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Elementary Education. Lady Merriwether also holds and Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Piedmont Community College, located in Charlotte, NC.
Lady Merriwether’s desire is to educate and encourage women through the building of sisterhood. You can find her writing blogs and sharing videos through her vlog “Growing Seasons”, which is dedicated to both spiritual and emotional growth and awareness. Lady Merriwether believes in the power of mentoring future leaders of the kingdom and the world, by serving them through her mentoring alliance, Leading2Legacy. She will continue to pursue God’s purpose through service to God and her community.
A loving wife, mother and leader, Lady Merriwether is certainly a Kingdom jewel.
